Mavin Wonder Kid Korede Bello Performs #Godwin In Church Again, Receives Prayer From Pastor (Photo)

Mavin act, Korede Bello has once again performed at another Church service despite the view of
some fans that a secular musician should not be allowed to mount
a pulpit and sing in the church.
He performed last weekend at Embrace International Assembly in Lagos.

Korede first appearance as a performing act in a Church was at HICC (Harvesters International
Christian Centre) where he sang his smash hitGodwin.

When he was criticized for his actions, the Young singer said that he was going to perform in a church again.

In an earlier interview with NET, he said;
“If you are the pastor of a church and you invite me to perform the song, Yes I will perform the song again.
“It’s God’s song and whatever is happening now is predetermined, people are talking about God
that’s all that matters”.
“From the inception of Godwin, I knew that it wasn’t my song, I knew that anything that’s for God has the potential of growing bigger than you
imagine. It’s not quite a gospel song, it’s an inspirational song, what I mean by it’s for God is the fact that it’s dedicated to God. I don’t see it as my song, I see it as people’s song and I see it as a song for God.”

Seyi Shay pens record deal with Island Universal Records

Seyi Shay has signed a new global recording contract with Island Universal Records which is a division of Universal Music Group.

The deal was struck in the American label’s South Kensington office in London yesterday. The record label has many global and award winning artists which include Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Leona Lewis and Ariana Grande. She took to her Instagram page to announce the ecstatic news to fans and also had a warning for enemies to stay clear off her path.

In a recent interview, Charly Boy talked about his family, life, kids and more.

On his age,“I’m not particular about how old or young the number is. What I care about is the age of my mind and then the age of my body. From my look, my energy and all, I feel 35 or slightly younger. That is the age of my mind. Going by my experiences, my responsibilities, my wisdom and.all, I should be about 87 years old,”

“I dress the way I feel. My happy moments are when my usefulness is engaged, when I see the influence I bring into people’s lives, when I’m able to add value and make a measurable contribution to individuals and society.”

Charly Boy says he never cherished ones off to the airport.

“I hate to say goodbye. I find it hard to do so. That’s why you may not find me seeing cherished people to the airport unless we are travelling together. Same for my relationships. I love forever.”

On his children,“Unlike some parents who can’t truly love more than a child at a time, I love all my children in different ways and I see a bit of me in all of them, up to my siblings, grandchildren and all.

Family is really what I have been blessed with, and my happiest moments have been family times,”he added.

On regrets in life, he said “Regrets don’t exist in my dictionary. I live life on the edge and to change it would mean doing things in traditional or conventional ways. To do that, for me, is to give up the ghost. If it’s not daunting and scary, it certainly is not for me.”

Yesterday, June 12, 2015, marks one year since gospel singer Kefee passed away.

Kefee died in a Los Angeles hospital after being in a coma for fifteen days. She died as a result of lung failure.

The Nigerian music industry mourned her passing. Before her death she was widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s best singers.

In 2012, she married on-air personality Teddy Esosa Don Momoh. She was formerly married to label boss Alec Godwin.

Lamboginny To Sue KCee’s Five Star Music And Goge Africa For Selling His Track ‘Meje’

Nigerian Pop star, Lamboginny is preparing a law suit against Five star music and Goge Africa for selling his track ‘Meje’ on Itunes illegally.

The singer said he’s not signed to either Five Star music or Goge Africa and he don’t understand why they will be selling his track.

Lamboginny released a statement on the issue:

“JUST FOUND OUT MY SINGLE MEJE #7 IS SELLING ON ITUNES FOR $1.29 WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE BY EITHER GOGE AFRICA, FIVE STAR MUSIC OR BOTH OF THEM. Sometime during the week I was informed that one of my new music material Meje is selling on iTunes but i thought it was just a joke because I just finished signing an international digital distribution deal with “ a Canadian distribution company” for the distribution of my songs, videos and my better part! I mean the video cuts from my humanitarian projects and that wont kick off until mid June but on a second thought I decided to go on iTunes, so I found my song is selling at $1.29 by Goge Africa and Five Star Music without my knowledge. I am not signed under Goge Africa or 5Star Music, so why would they be selling my song?
The leading single from my forthcoming album, and a song handpicked to lead my first digital sale online for that matter. We can’t make good money from Alaba Market, we give our songs out to bloggers for free download and iTunes which is our little hope of good record sales and now they are trying to take that away too?
